Type of project: Articles
The problem
The communications team needed expert support with interviewing (assistant) professors, surgeons, and other physicians and researchers, and writing compelling stories about their latest healthcare advancements. Due to the highly specialized and often technical subject matter, the challenge was to craft articles that stick to facts and avoid fluff in a language engaging to a non-specialist audience.
The result
I conducted duo video interviews with (assistant) professors, surgeons, and other physicians and researchers, and wrote in-depth articles for the general public. I wrote about topics including minimally invasive radioactive robots for precise tumor treatment, safer MRI for Parkinson’s patients, a new synovium-on-a-chip model for osteoarthritis pain, continuous monitoring of infants after colorectal surgery, and an AI system to evaluate tissue tension during surgery, among others.
Deliverables
Articles of 700-900 words, written in English or Dutch, available on request.
