As part of the freelance journalists’ team, I attended weekly editorial meetings, pitched story ideas, and wrote news and feature stories. This entailed interviewing researchers, professors, students, and residents of Groningen, conducting research, and verifying all sources.
Since 1971, the Universiteitskrant (UK) Groningen has been publishing news and background articles for students and staff of the University of Groningen.
